Brady Wins Seventh Super Bowl

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

The Buccaneers' victory was their second Super Bowl title, and their first since winning Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003.

Tom Brady, who joined the Buccaneers in 2020 after spending the first 20 seasons of his career with the New England Patriots, was named the game's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Brady completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns, and he also ran for a touchdown.

The Buccaneers' defense held the Chiefs to just 327 total yards and forced three turnovers.

The Chiefs, who were seeking their second consecutive Super Bowl title, were led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who completed 26 of 49 passes for 270 yards and two interceptions.

The Buccaneers' victory was a major upset, as the Chiefs were favored by 3.5 points.

The game was played in front of a limited crowd of 24,895 fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The halftime show featured performances by The Weeknd, H.E.R., and Jhene Aiko.
